Our Story
Zinduna, a product range from Shepid, leverages cutting-edge technology to overcome challenges in tough, hard-to-reach environments. Since 2006, our mission has been to transform education and unleash Africa’s potential by making robust tech solutions accessible and sustainable, especially in rural areas. Our innovative mobile trolley system acts as both the glue that holds our hardware and software together and a mobile infrastructure, ensuring that if remote solutions falter, support is just a journey away.
Our Team
Under the leadership of Sandile Mkhwanazi and Richard Fowles, our team blends a deep local understanding with extensive technical expertise. Sandile, with his profound knowledge of rural challenges and African culture, and Richard, who brings an engineering and technology background, together drive continuous innovation and community upliftment. Sandile, a visionary leader dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty, manages partnerships with investors and rural communities. Richard, motivated by a passion for social entrepreneurship and a commitment to positive impact, oversees product development and operations. Their collaborative efforts are central to our mission of transforming lives and fostering generational change in Africa.
